Individual Counselling

Feeling stuck, alone or overwhelmed? How are you coping? Is life overwhelming? Are you living with anxiety, guilt, depression, shame, or anger? Are you dealing with grief?

Individual counselling is confidential treatment, focusing on further developing one’s insight, coping mechanisms and strategies to excel in personal, work, or a variety of life goals and challenges.

Counselling can mean different things to different people, and your journey in therapy will be uniquely your own. However, the counselling process can involve addressing your problems in a positive way by helping you to clarify the issues, set goals, process experiences and increase self-awareness.

Couples Counselling

Having struggles in your relationship? Do things seem hopeless? Are you experiencing too much stress? Does conflict seem like a daily occurrence? Does reconciliation seem impossible?

In couples counselling we use strategies based on Gottman Method Couples Therapy and the goals are to disarm conflicting verbal communication; increase intimacy, respect, and affection; remove barriers that create a feeling of stagnancy; and create heightened sense of empathy and understanding within the context of the relationship.

Our goal is to support couples in their relational goals and find ways to repair and renew relationships. In couples therapy, communication tools and strategies will be introduced to help you work through conflict as it arises, and help you to plan and invest in the future you hope to have together.

Online Counselling

Do you need support, but can’t make it to an in-person appointment? Are you a busy stay-at-home or working parent, and don’t have the time to get to the office? Do you live in a more rural area, or maybe you prefer to just do things virtually?

Online counselling allows us to provide therapy to our clients via live video conferencing. This can be done anywhere you have a computer or smartphone. Online appointments can be very beneficial if getting to traditional in-person appointments is not convenient.

It provides the convenience of therapy in a location of your choosing, giving you the comforts you need during your session. It also allows you to receive support in an efficient and timely manner.
